How to Clean a Record Properly

The single most valuable skill a collector can learn, done right and done gently, groove by groove.

A clean record is not merely a quiet one. It is a record you are no longer grinding dust into with every play — a small act of preservation repeated across decades.

The method matters less than the patience. Work with the groove, never against it, and let the record dry fully before it goes home.
