Storing Records for the Long Decades

Upright, cool, and sleeved with care. How to keep a collection that will outlive the collector.

Records stored upright in a walnut shelf with new inner and outer sleeves and a pair of white cotton gloves on top

Records ask for little: to stand upright, to stay cool and dry, and to be spared the weight of their neighbours leaning in.

Replace the paper inners, give each record an outer sleeve, and you have done most of what the next fifty years require.
